I attended New York University, graduating with a BA in Art History. I received a Masters in Library and Information Science with an additional certificate in Archives in Records Management from Long Island University. I have also completed coursework in rare books at the University of Virginia and in paper preservation at the University of Rochester. I am currently working towards a certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS at Ryerson University.

I am the Research Associate and Online Resource Developer for the Learning & Teaching Office at Ryerson University, where I maintain the office website, write newsletters, perform reference and research services for faculty and staff, and develop and deliver workshops on using information literacy, web 2.0, and social media in the university classroom.

I volunteer at the Canadian Lesbian & Gay Archives. In addition to processing new accessions, I assist researchers and artists in using the collection, and work on developing exhibits for the website.

I am also the co-director of Lesbian & Gay Liberation in Canada, a pilot project for the Canadian Writing Research Collaboratory.

My research interests are in community and radical archives, Canadian queer history, and women’s writing.
